I'm not sure why people would confuse these two GUIs, as they have several difference that makes it obvious they aren't related. I've had to screen capture and stretch them a tiny bit to make them fit on a the image evenly, which doesn't make a difference when comparing.
1. Tone2 knobs are rounded and glow with a blue reflection from the LCD screen. While Behringer's knobs are flat with no reflections.
2. Tone2 screens have obvious LCD bulbs, Behringer's doesn't, but has a rather large LCD front and center with lots of information and moveable ADSR. Tone2's screens are small and limited in information.
3. Tone2's keyboard keys have shadows, Behringer's doesn't.
4. Tone2's mod/pitch wheels are rather wide, Behringer's are rather thin.
5. Behringer's GUI is more 3D showing the back of the synth, cooling unit, etc.
6. Behringer's indication buttons are square blue with a soft orange, Tone2 uses round LCDs shadowed buttons that are darker blue, orange and red.
7. Tone2's palette of colors are a bit darker.
8. Tone2's name and branding is centered on faux wood with more grain detail, Behringer's is off to the side and the wood is muted and thinner.
