I also do not believe in MPE. The "trick" is absolutely wonderful to see in action, but in everyday usage in music production, I don’t find it irreplaceable, as any multiple parameter automation would work the same way. And macros are exactly here for that.
Most synths I use simply do not care about MPE in the end. So I never felt the need of a MPE keyboard. That’s why.![:shrug:]( "Shrug")
In my opinion MPE is bound to stay a niche format. If some keyboardist love it, good for them that they have the option. But I think the majority will stick to the good old $0 costing macros.
