Okay. After some short demoing i'd say it's pretty promising. Can sound very close to existing software compressors. But i'm missing character of the more colorful compressors, have to play around more to see how these things can get closer.
Few remarks :
- I'm missing numerical readouts of the meters. This makes it very hard to set, or compare results.
- Standard controls (attack/release) always revert to lowest value when choosing presets. Is that a bug ?
- Many of its functions could be more clearly described. I guess this is a case of 'Lost in translation', as it also happens a lot in the video tutorials. But i understand that the dev is French, so hopefully these things will get resolved in time.
It obviously needs more work. But even without getting nerdy it's already a lot of fun. Think i'll buy it anyway, just for experimentation and going into extremes. After all, i managed to dig Compassion, Multiplicity and Unisum for the biggest parts, so how hard can it be to learn a few hundred more parameters![Smile :)]()
