Using your workaround, I saved an oscillator setting that can be easily recalled. I called it “Initialize Multisample” – it contains a muted “Placeholder” group (empty wav file – 234ms of silence) and a “Default Group” where I can drop my samples. I load the presets by adding a basic oscillator and selecting "Initialize Multisample" from the dropdown list.My workaround is (...)

P.S. I did the same for Granular Oscillator, however, most of my samples are Stereo, so I need to wait for SM3 update to test it (at the moment SM3 Granular Oscillator suports Mono files only).
