Yes, I remember the animated web-series. It makes sense this was written for it.I don't mind that you think the rap is too long... That means I can split it in half and have it come up twice, I don't mind that.
This isn't a super serious release, I have the feeling that I've talked to you about it before, but I'm working on an animated web-series, so I'm cranking out songs for the soundtrack. These songs take me a couple of days... What I consider my "real" music takes months.
Oh, but I've taken a couple of things on board. I've made the vocals a touch clearer (both male and female) and just moved the hats into the middle... Although the hats do have ping pong delay, so I've left that a bit stereo... In fact, it might be the delay that's making the hi-hat pattern messy for you.
Cutting the rap in half and playing it in two parts would help. Yes, the ping pong delay is what I am reacting to.
