I was just asking Porres whether Ofelia was discontinued or not – so I would know and stop learning it –, he refused to answer (same like Plugdata didn't announce it) blurring w/ I am not following u. So it was clear to me, that it was dropped and told him go fys w/ this crap.
Then I said openly, if he - without any Lua experience will maintain Pd_Lua I am done w/ Plugdata.
For these two reasons he hunts me on any Plugdata forum for ages (half year) - u may find long insulting messages which I'm no longer replying to - full of real insults, threats and real psycho behavior.
Last time u could see he blocked me on your comment in Pd FB just because I ve said Coll works differently in M4L
So I am really not sure, who is insulting who.![:phones:]( "tsk tsk tsk")
It is imo quite a q if this is proper behavior of person staying behind 1/2 of main Plugdata libraries.
Not to mention, vast majority of what Porres done is reverse-patched /from Max or SuperCollider/. This is Imo disgrace of patching, if u do that on bigger scale.
While Plugdata is really great, it is light-years behind full M4L, which of course cost 700 $ in sale time.
The patch u presented here is nice but not changing much on what I've said.
I already did in M4L in 3month voice leading device and finishing Spleen Curves shaper and sad that I have to be worried, that Plugdata co-developers (Porres) will reverse-patch my work.
So that was my point, if u can support software developers, pay for the soft and fair play, if 700 $ (or 200$ for RNBO) is too much for u, go with Plugdata. But it should be clear it will be lacking and unfortunately, even atmosphere there will be worse than in M4L. Just reading Porres ranting in discussing is imo huge creativity contraception.
PS: This just my feeling and basically bad experience w/ Pluddata, hope that your(s) will be better.
