The first draft was over 5 minutes and it sounded pretty monotonous so I did a lot of editing to keep it short and focused.In fact, yes: here you have broken the usual pattern. But only partially. Snow, No Sound" has very emotional input, great spoken vocals, and a really infectious
groove. In terms of composition, the song is very straight to the point - almost a bit short.![:wink:]( "Wink")
On the one hand, the song is very current: Snow is falling in the north right now -
probably in New York too. On the other hand, you create a dark, slightly broken
atmosphere - which contrasts well with the "white" in the snow.![:o]( "Surprised")
The spoken vocals fit well here - it conveys a lot of feeling, a lot of strangeness, it's
what makes this song what it is.
I'm listening to it a second time now - and I think this is one of your best songs! For me
the highlight of the day - great!
My wife also said it is one of my best songs but I think she said that because it doesn't have my singing on it.
