Saw the Wild Robot last night. It says that its only got one writer, but it plays like it's been written by a committee: sometimes it's smart, witty and poignant; others it is obvious and trite.
Music is bombastic and the dialogue given to Bill Nighy's character is toe-curling in the extreme.
Art is great with some luminous colours schemes.
The start seems to be a strange mix of The Iron Man and the Tale of Jemima Puddleduck.
I think it was pretty good overall, with some decent messages about belonging, differences, and community.
