Yes that does. When you create a project, are you actually copying the sample so you end up with two copies? Ideally I'd like to try and keep only one source and point everything to that one file to avoid duplication and clutter.
But with this approach, I guess you could create a project folder for each type of sound with your own categories, e.g kicks, drum loops, stabs etc etc and then link each folder in Bitwig. Not sure if this makes sense to do this though, just trying to think through the best workflow at the moment.
