The new Drum modules also support Note Expressions. You can draw pitch envelopes, gain and panning env's per note. They work with MPE controllers and support micro-tuning.Different, sure, embarrassing no way.I have only seen the videos but I'm a bit disappointed tbh. There are plenty of better drum synth out there or you could just use an actual synth. The kick module compared to KickNinja or Kick2 is embarrassing.
It'll be better integrated. Probably slightly different aims. And, best of all, won't block other drum related plug ins in case you worried about that.
Very few drum plugins support these features. So the new drum devices offer some fairly unique capabilities.
