I do not think this is the reason as what you said could be said about the people who paid full price recently too. They will offer the upgrade discounts during Summer of Sound most probably. Even if they were not following a schedule, they try to maximise what they can get first.it is a new product and a lot of people bought the upgrade recently, they don't want to piss everyone off who already bought.Why are Native Instruments not discounting upgrades of Komplete 15? Seems criminal that a new user can get 50% off but updates and upgrades are still normal price. I realize they used to wait until the following spring/summer for new version of Komplete discounts, but what gives here? Would be an instant-buy!
This thing that people get pissed off with a price reduction is one of the most childish things ever, as if they did not get advantage of price reductions on other products themselves
