I've been feeding the IRs that are generated by Chameleon into Fabfilter Pro R2, but I'm not aware of anything that will generate IRs with ambisonics, or even do ambisonics based of an input IR.Given your mention of Chameleon 2, I've been looking for an app that can do custom IR's but with 3D panning/ambisonics/etc.. as well. Any suggestions? What I've been doing is just feeding the output of one app-- say, the 3D panning/ambisonics/etc.-- into the input of another-- an IR reverb.
I have also been playing with Vienna Mir Pro 3D, which is obviously tied to their 1000s of (detailed) IRs for the specific space. I would like Dear Reality Pro to also load IRs, but again I suspect they need more than just one.
Altiverb 8 looks nice, but I won't go near it because:

These IRs are saved in Altiverb Proprietary format. Reverse engineering or re-sampling is prohibited. This information is also in the End User License Agreement of Altiverb.
